Description

With the aspiration to support the biotechnology development in Taiwan, Biomedical Translation Research Center (BioTReC) was formally founded in September 2019 as a part of the National Biotechnology Research Park to align well with the government initiatives to accelerate bio-entrepreneurship from early discovery stages to commercialization. BioTReC, consists of three divisions including Translational Medicine Division, Innovation Incubation Center (Biohub Taiwan), and Smart Healthcare Division, and offers access to state-of-the-art research facilities to support recruited companies as well as to cultivate start-up teams. The mission of BioTReC is to forge an open innovation ecosystem to facilitate new drug discoveries and biotechnology industry development and to transform translational research to innovative technology for the goal of improving human welfare.
